    As the title says, I've never been down the 1/4 mile drags. My buddy talked me into going, and I've been wanting to see what the ol girl will do As in my signature, I have a 406, fairly mild hydraulic roller cam, TFS 23 degree heads, headers and decent cat back exhaust, a 2000 stall that ends up stalling close to 2500, and 3.42 posi. Does anyone have any first timer tips?

    It's this coming Friday. I went yesterday with my buddy and his uncle's mid 8 second 1/4 mile machine. Not as difficult as I thought it would as far as staging and running. We went up there in his '06 'Stang that he ran 13.80's in last week....and it pulls nothing like mine....so I feel confident as long as I don't wreck or spin like crazy. Prev.
