1963 - GREEN VALLEY RACEWAY. Green Valley Raceway was apart of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Built and operated by Bill Hielscher it opened in 1963, The raceway consisted of a 1.6 mile asphalt sealed road course and a dragstrip. The raceway was active for over twenty years until it closed in in 1984.
