Strength: Seems to be very, well, Stout and beefy. Rides very comfortably. Weakness: When upgrading to disc brakes, the v-brake mounts are pretty ugly looking. Bike is heavy out of the box at just under 30#, easily will get higher if you convert to geared and add bigger tires, etc. This bike is a good value.

I found out the 09 (red) Stout frames were straight gauge cromoly tubing. The 10' (green) Stout frames are now double butted cromoly.Which is a tad stronger and a tad lighter. So its more than just an expensive paint job on the price difference from the 09' - 10' Stout.. Im looking for the new soon to be out 2011 Stout to get leaked online.
