2008 sees an exciting time for the newly christened ‘Classic 2CV Racing Club' as it returns to its roots and presents a series of high action, high drama, 25 minute Sprint Races. With new Club Chairman Sir Aubrey Brocklebank and a dedicated and proactive committee, a format has been thrashed out to provide the ultimate balance of low costs, close competition and fun.

2008. ( now 24H24' ). 2CVTV went to Spa with the weather set to be good, but with mist at night. Fifty-six 2CV teams took part, two were from the UK - car 63 POMS Racing and car 71 Blue Haggis UK. The race was scheduled to start on Saturday at 16:00 and to last 24 hours 24 minutes.

The race was won by 2CV Team Lion 1 with drivers Pete Sparrow, Alec Graham and David O'Keeffe in 662 laps. Pete Sparrow set the fastest lap on the new Snetterton 200 for Club Class 2CV of 1.48.382. Crisis@TeteRouge were 2nd (659 laps) and Team Twin Snails 3rd (655 laps).
