The A.I.R. has conducted many drag racings until the end of the 90s. However, in 2011, it restarted hosting the drag race events. The Adelaide International Raceway is the permanent circuit, located in South Australia on Port Wakefield Road at Virginia. It is owned by the Australian Motorsport Club, under the endowment of Bob Jane Corporation.
