History. The Adelaide Dirt Kart Club first started out back in 1980 under the name of Noarlunga Kart Club. In early 1985 a local motor sporting club invited the club to use their track facilities at Lonsdale, South of Adelaide. Interest soon grew and the local council allocated a site on the old Lonsdale dump site.
