If the spring perches were lowered allowing the strut to "droop" instead of propertly using the height adjustment to set ride height then you'll end up being in the middle of the shocks stroke before the suspension ever compresses. sweet, thanks ... then that experience confirms my guess as well. i'll reset the preload and report back.
