Oct 13, 2021. #3. Thinking they havent been made in years, and back when we had to race them, the fresher the tire was, faster it was. So if youre getting old stock, and someone is on fresher you may be in trouble. Also, you constantly have to be checking stagger, these grow and shrink LOTS.

If your chewing through tires I could see doing something different. The track I ran I had good luck with 11s, Hoosier d10s and yellow Vegas (with a lot of work done). It generally called for 11s but some guys thought 22s and 33s were the answer, certain nights they were but I always got by with 11s.
