Boggs 8-hour mountain bike race takes place in Boggs Demonstration State Forest just outside of the quaint mountain hamlet of Cobb, California. It was the very first mountain bike race that Bike Monkey ever produced. In 2015, a fire started nearby and laid ruin to much of surrounding communities and Boggs forest itself. Here is your 2022 course!

Boggs returns May 6th - 8th. Bring your friends. Your Entry Your entry fee gets you into one of the most historic mountain bike races in California. It also gets you a post-race meal, access to camp at Boggs on Friday and Saturday night (if you include it), an optional event t-shirt, and a post-race beer from Barrel Brothers Brewing Company.
Bogus Racing - MTB Apparel
Bogus Racing was born out of a long running joke between friends. After showing up to races and seeing the rows of team buses, trailers and adventure vans, it felt like we were part of a select few without a jersey. In 2018, someone made the comment, "we should just make a bogus racing team or whatever." And just like that, Bogus Racing stuck.
