374 Posts. #12 · Oct 4, 2008. Not quite so in so many ways. Bottecchia is made by ADK, the carbon fiber used is Toray T700, and the frame is finished in 12K wide CF. PedalForce RS is the same frame but made from a different mix of carbon fibers, slightly lighter (by around 150g) and finished in 3K fibers.

I've got a Bottecchia 8tavio frame. Very aggressive, very stiff and currently hanging in the shed unused following a couple of years use and a decision to move to steel. In terms of build quality, it's right up there and looks very bling indeed when dressed up.
