CompCams is trying to compete with these guys on "fast-rate-of-lift" stuff, but the old Ultradyne (Lunati lately) and Bullet stuff lead the way for sure... Examples: flat tappet .875" 288/292* 259/263* .579/.590" (1.5 rocker ratio) solid …

Yes you can get a Ultradyne cam from Bullet Racing Cams. Nothing obsolete about these. Lunati shows these cams as "New". "Street strip" and "new oval" solids etc. You can find the lobe master specs in the Lunati lobe lists. You can get the off the shelf catalog grinds and any combo and lobe separation custom grind versions

U.D Harrold is the founder of Ultradine Cams, I consider him a leader in camshaft design. He sold the company to J. Partrage, the founder of Bullet racing cams and former long time employee of Lunati cams. Go over to Team Chevelle and check there, Harold is a member over there and HIGHLY respected. Ultradyne is good stuff especially for BBC's.

So Lunati and Bullet both have the UltraDyne masters; only Bullet has the right to call them UltraDynes. If you call Bullet, ask for Tim, as he worked at UltraDyne for 21 years. If you call Lunati, ask for Steve, he worked at UltraDyne for 13 years. Both men will steer you right.
