    A glide has about the same low gear as the 400's second gear. I'm thinking a taller rear end gear should compensate for the low gear in the 400. A glide is lighter & takes less hp to turn. Pro stocks have 4 and 5 speeds, but that's a different animal & more expensive. Glide is more consistent I'm told.

    It's just my opinion but if it was a 3400 lb car with a 550 HP motor, I'd run a T-400 over the glide (actually I'd use a T350 with only 550 HP, takes less HP to run the T-350). I like the lower 1rst gear to get that weight moving. Especially foot braking.

I put the t-400 in the car and the car went .08 quicker and .02 quicker in 60'. The t-400 cost $900 less and it's been in the car for 5 years. Ray.
