But anyway, two screens would mean twice the processing power would be required. Since most of these games don't run fullspeed on any available PC CPU, it would be a pointless exercise. Edit: I think the only feasible way of doing it would be to link up 2 PC's, but I don't think MAME supports this at this time. Outrunners works fine.

Constant "split screen" (one vertical split down the middle with 2 pictures, one each side). This means you have not configured MAME or ArcadeOS for 15Khz and the PC is still sending a normal VGA signal. The J-PAC is operating in "scan divide" mode. To verify this is happening, try running with only the 15Khz jumper on.

The only way I can think to do what you want with the screens is to split the video signal. That means you'd still see both players racing on the same screen, but the left player would control the top half, and the right player would control the bottom half.
