The temperature had dropped to the low 50's. The first call to staging was 30min before the race. Some people went to staging but I took my time to prepare and tried to stay warm. I was in the 6 man 19-29 category. One of 2 small wheeled bikes, I am quickly realizing that a 29er is the way to go in MTB racing.
