Whispers columns use to appear in issues of the old Illustrated Speedway News racing paper from the 1940 s until that paper went out of business in the 1980 s. Back in the early 60 s, I used to buy the paper at Raceway Park and eventually subscribed to it, waiting each week for the paper to arrive in the Definitely some good stuff there!
