The Early Days of Comox Outrigger Club. In 1993, former False Creek paddler Annie Boulding launched the club with a small but enthusiastic group using an OC6 borrowed from the Canadian Outrigger Racing Association. Sarah Mclennan and Annie, drove to Victoria and picked it up from the Victoria Canoe and Kayak Club location.

CVCRC will host 2021’s first CORA-sanctioned OC6 distance races on Saturday with short course (6-8km) and long course (approx. 15km) races.

Strathcona Nordic Ski Club offers a wide variety of options for youth between the ages of 9 and 15. Recreational programs include FIT (Fun Improvement Team) and Youth Recreation -Intro. The Devos (Track Attack) are a group of keen 8-13 year-old skiers who work hard and play hard.
