You can probably custom fab something up. I definitely notice an increase in exhaust noise with header and high flow cat both at idle and accelerating. Not much change in low end pickup but definite increase after about 4k rpm. If you have an 04-05, it'll be worth it to swap it out for a high flow cat.

You do realize that the dynos Comptech did were done with both a stock exhaust and a Comptech axleback exhaust. There is no catback for the TL, unless you go full custom. There was a loss in low end torque with the Comptechs, due to reduction in backpressure. BTW, the tarnish that JPritch is just the metal discoloration due to the TIG welder.
