The crossmark gives a surprising amount of grip even in the mud. Be careful to get the 2.25″ version in 60a duromer. They do a harder tyre in 2.1″ which is simply shocking in …

The Racing Ralph / Racing Ray is a great combination. It WILL feel a lot faster than your Dissectors which are DH tires meant more for gravity use than having to pedal. A 150mm trail bike sure isn't going to feel great on pavement / unpaved roads, though... The Race King is a silly fast tire, but doesn't have much knob for it.

The Crossmark is an alright rear tire, but not something I would use on the front. ... For racing, I am using an age old combination 2.25 Rocket Ron on the front, and a 2.25 Racing Ralph on the rear, I find this combo works quite well and rolls pretty quick and grips well in most conditions that I encounter when racing (usually loose and dry or ...

June 1, 2016. Highly recommend for XC especially on hardpack or some loose over hardpack conditions. Pros. Super fast rolling, predictable traction, durable, easy to set up tubeless. Cons. Packs up with mud. Not really for super loose or muddy conditions. Slips a bit on climbs if used as a rear tire as well.
