a flat top 383 will be around 10.7:1 with a 67cc head, which is fine for aluminum heads. 10:1 is a bit low. 383s are a good budget/power combo. they can make around 500hp while staying daily driver streetable and run 10s is a light set up car. or get a bit more crazy with the cam and make 550-575hp.

Here is a combo I know will work. vic. jr int. 750 hp holley mech sec. solid flat tappet , specs 256 int and 264 ex @ .050 106 lobe sep lift 549/567 with 1.5, with 1.6 it would be .586 int and 605 ex. Install on 102 intake centerline. ( I have this cam listed in the swap meet section hint hint)

Excessive front toe in will make a car turn into a corner quicker, & may create a loose condition. Less fuel equals faster speeds. The less fuel in the tank the tighter the chassis will become. Splash = 2-3 gallons, 1/2 can = 5-6 gallons, 1 can = 11-12 gallons, 1 1/2 cans = 17-18 gallons, 2 cans = full tank.
