The 477 engine combination used to be very popular and would still be a good combination. It is just like the 467-468 just a little bigger bore. The 496 is more highly favored just becuase it is bigger. Don't make the mistake like so many do of buying cylinder heads with runners far too big for what your engine combination needs.
