Dry ice is ~-109F, and has the nifty trait of sublimation. This means, as you're probably aware, that dry ice turns directly from a solid to a gas, without a transition to liquid in between. Which means track people usually don't have a problem with it since you're not leaving foriegn substances on the track surface.
