I find the swoop races in KotOR I to be easy. Of course, I've played the game many times over, so I've had a lot of chances to practice. Here's a hint: In KotOR I, you could just use the keyboard and it was much easier. A-D to move, Space to shift gears. In II, you have to jump as well, and you can't do that with the keyboard, so you have to use the mouse at the same time. The problem is, moving the mouse also moves you left and right. So I suggest only using the mouse.
