The Aluminum would allow the engine to rev up quicker but not last as long as the Chromolly because it is aluminum and it will have a steel insert as a friction surface and the difference of the metals and the way the expand and contract with heat will cause it to wear out quicker. :3_withstu. Hey guys, I put on my F1 Racing Stage 2 clutch and flywheel and finally have a good 1100 miles on it now so I finally got into for a little. Doing different rolls, out the hole some, turns, etc. It is so much better than stock, it hooks up really nice and the shifts are so much smoother. As for acceleration it def. gets through the RPM's quicker.

After the install, the clutch pedal felt about the same as the original clutch, maybe a little heavier pedal. The engagement of the disc is a lot different from the slippery worn out clutch, but it is not unmanageable. The clutch play is a lot tighter and it is easier to get "chatter" with this clutch.
