The Factory Five Racing-NASA Challenge Series is an amateur racing series based on a tightly spec’d Factory Five competition version of it’s famous roadster design. The series was launched in August 2000 and the inaugural race was held with eight cars at Virginia International Raceway in Danville, Virginia.
