The Focus was meant to be a workhorse and was designed for mundane driving with 103 hp at-the-wheels and 110 ft. lbs of torque. We selected the 45 cubic-inch Eaton supercharger for the perfect match of response and airflow capacity. The result: 150hp and 129 ft.lbs. of torque.

An intercooler would allow more boost, more torque, and more hp. The one thing I don't like about the JRSC systems is that they really lack on the torque side of things. I think the torque curve is a bit too low for my liking... I like the PowerWorks kit at Focus Sport. 220 hp/180 ft-lbs at the wheels, on a Zetec, for $4700.

Yes, you can get a MAFia and custom tune, but thats all going to cost $1000 bucks. The Ford Racing tune they provide with the Base JRSC and the BBK JRSC (you mail them the ECU, they mail it back reflashed, for free) are very good for daily reliability and still provide decent performance.
