(See Figure#1 & #2) I welded a length of metal to the subframes, supported by a short length of angle iron. Before I welded the attaching bracket to the subframes, I tapped the brackets(See Figure#2)to match the 4 holes found in the driveshaft loop. The loop can now be easily removed for tranny or other work.

Only show this user. Trying to install the BMR DSL020 on my 07 GT500. I've got the OEM H-pipe. Bracket is supposed to mount below the transmission mount. I dont see how the bracket can fit given the H-pipe hangers between the mounting bolts. BMR says this the GT500 mount. Seems everyone else on the interwebs was able to install this without issue.

A single loop is all that is needed and we drilled the long arms with a hole that would pass a 5/8-11 grade five one inch long bolt. Drill and tap the four inch tube for the 5/8-11 thread and bolt it in. Use some red locktite and a lock washer under the head.

The loop needs to be approximately 4" from the front u-joint. I made a mark on the driveshaft with a Sharpie, about 4" from the rear of the front u-joint, then placed the lower crossbar up and bolted it to the loop. Two 3/8" bolts (use a 9/16 wrench) on each side hold the two pieces together.
