18 Sep 2015. #1. Hi Folks, I have a set of Fulcrum 3's. The front wheel hub has started to make a grating noise which I assume is the sign of a bearing issue. I have downloaded the maintenance guide on how to overhaul the hub but for the life of me cannot get the axle to push out after removing the plastic covers and adjusting screw.

The shimano/sram free body is about 100g heavier than the campy free body.

With the help of this bard I replaced the freehub bearings on my two year old Fulcrum Racing Quattro wheels fairly easily. The two bearings in the freehub were just shot, rusted up, worn out and falling apart. You notice noise and free play in the freehub&cassette.
