I found out in my research a couple of companies make clutch disc and pressure plates for other clutch companies. The South Bend clutch kit I bought had a made in Japan clutch plate made by Excedy and a heavy duty pressure plate made by Sachs.

I do think there is some, but it isn't earth shatteringly different. The pedal feel is definitely heavier. It isn't a TON heavier, but noticeable, nothing normal people can't handle. The engagement point is almost identical to my factory clutch. It has a slight amount of play and then catches just off the floor, perfect for my taste.

You will be highly dissapointed with this clutch, DONT BUY! Plus I bought an Exedy flywheel from them, they said it was suppossed to be 18 lbs., when I got it, it weighed 24 lbs!!!! They said that I used the wrong scale! Apparently you need to use a shipping scale when you want something accuatlly weighed.

The F1 clutches are just cheap imitations made for companies to sell on ebay to people that get excited over to-good-to-be-true prices. The F1 clutches won't hold worth the box they are shipped in.
