I have one of those FX clutches ("stage 2" though), and haven't had any issues. It hasn't exploded on me and I rev higher than most M20s ever will, and it hasn't slipped, though I don't have the torque a boosted M20 has. I'm doing a 5 speed swap for a local and he has the FX "stage 3."

So I just installed the F1 racing stage 1 clutch in my 93 ls. While I have only drove a few hundred miles on it so far I am fully satisfied with it. There is so much more grip and jump off the line now. It's smooth in and out, allows smoother shifting and smooth acceleration.
