We installed 2 gforce chips on our 2013 Honda Cr-V. and 2012 Honda Odyssey "Our 2013 Honda CR-V is rated at 30 MPG. After installing it we are now getting 38.6 MPG. No we didn't drive downhill. I drove 1 hour west and took the same route 1 hour east back. Awesome. Then we installed one on our 2012 Honda Odyssey.

Any of those "chips" which just plug into the IAT sensor are just foolers to make the PCM think it is sub freezing out, in order to waste gas, throw off the timing, ruin your cat converters by running unburnt fuel through them, and ultimately bend the valves and completely destroy the engine.

The actual wide-range lab-grade sensors have fast response, are expensive and didn't last long - besides sensor aging/cooking, high failures around cable-to-sensor area due to frequent installing and removal across multiple cars led to a some overhead cost buying sensors.

G Force has a chip that it claims will add up to 60 hp and increase gas milage by 4 -7 mpg. Has anyone tried this chip yet and verified these claims? The chip is retailing for $69. That seems pretty cheap for that amount hp and gas mileage. Would like to know if the chip is worth spending my hard earned money on. Appreciate any advice anyone has.

From seeing these style of "chips" on eBay for years, it makes the motor think the air coming in is very cold, thus it will add more fuel and slightly advance timing. It doesn't "reprogram the ECU" as it states. Their claims of up to 60HP are completely ridiculous, as are the gains of 4-7MPG and 25-40% fewer emissions...

My original review of GeForce "chips" and any other product with the same claims are based on FACTS not FANTASY. They're all junk and nothing but junk that will not only NOT give you ANY performance increase but will also severely damage your vehicle AND void any warranty you would otherwise have to cover that damage. 25 people found this helpful.
