With a standard 20 fret board and normal sized sound hole, the X braces crosses about 1 7/8" for rear braced, 1 1/2" for modern bracing, and 1" for forward braced. You are also correct on the top thickness. I've seen several customs and some limited editions with that. I was specifically addressing the Authentic thing.
