The Langley Times newspaper of Langley, British Columbia, reported at 4 pm on Sunday that 20 Standardbred horses died in a barn fire in Langley Township. The barn was located next to a mushroom farm. Standardbred Canada reported that the majority of the horses in the barn were trained by Bill Davis and owned by Rick Mowles of the JJJ Stables.
