If the rim weighs 29lbs in 17x9, then there is why it is cheap. The best performance option I have found for 17x9 is the FN01R-C. I would consider the Diamond racing wheels because they are cheap wheels that I wouldn't be pissed about curbing or if they are stolen. I don't really care what wheels look like. Cory B.

They are steel. By diamond racing. Unless you are buying diamond racing steelies to cram ungodly large racing slicks in sizes otherwise impossible to find (13x9, 15x10, etc), its pretty dumb. 13x9 diamond racings with hoosiers on a car being raced = cool. street car with heavy diamond racing wheels and normal tires = lame.
