I called two local places and both quoted me $200-$250 for the install alone if I provide the stripes. Mind you the stripes themselves are under $150. For some reason this seems rather high to me. If they know what they are doing, I am assuming it can't take more than 3-4 hours which breaks down to over $50/hr and to me that seems just a tad steep.

$80 bucks for the stripe kit and installed myself. I have been putting stripes and graphics on my own cars for 15 years. It is not hard just takes patients. The vinyl easily lasts 10 years when parked out side and when they get to shabby it's easy to get off and redo or do something else.

I have heard from many others to expect to pay $200-$500 for vinyle stripes, depending where you get them done at and how complicated the stripes are. go to ruthlesscars.com and get thier vinyl, cost me 40 bucks shipped for 2 8" wide stripes 15 feet long. I paid a vinyl guy locally 100 bucks to put them on. Painted I got a estimate for 950 bucks and 1 week from start to finish. Whoa. You might as well have someone install a Stage 3 kit at that price & lead time!
