Supposedly 1350 CFM total--rated as a two-barrel. Re-rate that system at the four-barrel standard of 1.5 inches of vacuum, and the CFM rating drops to about 950 cfm. If you had only .5 inches of vacuum, the flow would be even less. Someone with a mathematics background could calculate it, but I bet it's around 600 cfm.

At idle your intake has highest vacuum but a race motor will be less than 12"Hg while a street motor will have like 18"Hg vacuum in the intake behind the throttle blades.

Look at it like this a 650cfm carb can flow 1200cfm, but you'll be pulling about 6 inches of vacuum in the manifold to do it. Holley rates their carbs at 1.5 inches of manifold vacuum, if the vacuum is high than that the carb will flow more than it is rated for, if it's lower than that it will flow less than what it is rated at.

I noticed it would climb up to 4-5" Hg at WOT on the primary alone, (2bbl). It ended up with #76 PMJ, .076" PVCR and 10" PV. # 94 SMJ With a 6.5 high flow PV the vacuum at high RPM was enough to not let the PV open all the way, or actually, as the vacuum climbed it pulled the PV back to partly closed and the A/F would drift lean as the RPM went up.

At the drag strip, I leave my vacuum advance hooked up because I believe the vacuum drops to near zero during WOT for the entire run..... He, on the other hand, is trying to tell me that the vacuum is coming back to as high as 8" near the end of the run, activating the advance unit and reducing power.
