The only problem with using the 4th gen tank is the fuel level sender, it operates on 40 to 240 ohms. The 89 operates on 0 to 90 ohms. the same as the 79 TA I am working with. I will retain the original fuel level sender. Then mount the 4 gen pump module off to the side of the tank. The fuel level sender on the 4th gen pump is easily removed.
