Well that's only for LOADING your saves when you're in Offline Mode, the game will refuse to save further progress unless you go online. :\. I think the reason for this is to avoid gamesave cheating. I don't think there is anything to do about it. I've never lost my progress, I've played a lot in offline mode.

Right click Transformed in your steam games library, then click Properties. Click Set Launch Options. Type -clearsteamcloud into the box, then click Ok. Launch the game as normal.
