The large hole was made with a unibit and this was at least trial number two. Start with the large hole and work back to the bushing in the stock arm. The valve body in the 4r70w is a Silverfox full manual just like the C4, and the rear gears are still the same. No spinning either. I really hope the loss is within the converter, but the C4 is just so much lighter internally. There are videos showing it. The one piece shaft fixes that, as does the non lockup converter, but you can't just lock it out for racing or performance driving and then push a button to lock it at highway speeds like you could on the 4R70W. If you do some highway driving, the lockup is nice. I like mine.
