How about this-. Just go out to your local hardware store and buy some stainless steel frame hanger wire, for like $2.00 and then cut it to size and then buy some really skinny plastic rubber hose. Get some WD40 and spray it throughout the hose, Take the wire slide into place and then cut it to the desired length!

There are two sets of plates with that kit... an inner plate and an outer plate. The inner plate isn't absolutely necessary, but the outer plate obviously is. Measure about 20 times before you start drilling into that new CF hood. People normally attach the lanyards with a rivet to a small hole drilled into the bumper support.

Use your tape measure man... heh measure in how far it is... once you drill the hole in the core support I would put a marker through the hole and mark underneath the hood to line up the holes right to the hood... look at the upper right hand corner of this page at the mustang, they're all at that location unless they're fake...
