Wreckers are your only choice and they will possibly the same condition as yours. I am looking at doing what the V8's do and have a curley cord around the boss, or using radio control. An aftermarket cruise control uses radio. Also maybe the later buttons off an AU might be pressed into service. You just have to try things and see how you go.
