The studs are larger 5/8" diameter than your 1/2". They are larger so it can elminate the need for the "shouldered" lug nuts that you must use with your wheels. The shoulder goes down inside the wheel to support the weight. The 5/8" studs will fit your wheels, but you would have to remove the 1/2" lugs and then drill/tap for the 5/8" studs.
