You have to hit every zipper on every lap; if you miss more than one you can't win. Remember to let off the gas right before you hit the zippers for added boost! If you hit all the zippers and get that extra boost you'll beat him with ease! Beating Wizpig the second time is actually easier than the first if you're using Diddy Kong.

Open the game up and look. Gamebit driver set are 8$. That is a reproduction cartridge, that's why it isn't saving. Also, Diddy Kong Racing doesn't use a controller pak to save normal game progress. It only uses the controller pak if you save ghost times for Time Trials.
