Much quieter replacing a metal one with the Hyde. My Hyde has 20K miles or so, 2000 on gravel and dirt. Looks fine and only takes a couple extra minutes at oil change. Lighter weight and better looking too, IMHO. I used their hardware straight up, no mount to crash bar.

I’m a huge fan of my Hyde plate but it is a PIA and unfortunately the drain plug doesn’t quite line up so every time I change the oil I just sort of let it hang on the exhaust bracket and do it up afterwards. It gets easier to reinstall as it shapes better to the bike. I’ve hit a lot of crap with that plate and it’s doing great.
