Our Gang 4 Wheelers is an ice racing club whose volunteers have been holding ice races in Colorado for 46 years! You'll find us out on Georgetown Lake in the beautiful Rocky Mountains in Colorado. Our season spans 6 weekends through January and February. Ice racing is fun, safe and a great way to enjoy your 4x4 during the winter months.

The ice depth and quality is checked in four different areas before anyone is allowed to enter the lake. The ice in Georgetown averages 12 to 22 inches throughout January and February. There must be 12 inches to hold a race, 18 inches before trucks and trailers are allowed onto the ice and 20+ inches before large RVs are allowed on the ice.

Racing remained there until around 1980 when the regular season races were moved to Georgetown. The Tri-State (Championship) events were still held at Twin Lakes until 1982 when all events moved to Georgetown where they remain now.

Nov 9, 2021 #1 There's this ice racing club called Our Gang Ice Racing. Every year they hold events at Georgetown Lake. They have Sunday fun day, which is open to everyone. I've been going for the last few years. It's a lot of fun and I thought I'd throw it out to the club. They do limit the number of vehicles.
