I start with 10lbs in each tire and go from there depending on hard or soft ice. Make sure the two rear tires are the same psi as are the front I check mine right before each heat with a high dollar tire gauge. How your screws are turned is also crucial it's pretty self explanatory as to which way to turn them to have them bite.

I run 18x9.5x8 Cheng Shin rear ice tires and 19x6x10 holeshot MX fronts with 5/8: Kold Kutters. Front and rear lowering kits can be purchased through CRJ Performance (link above). Swaybar is a good idea. Lonestar or Rath Racing seem to be pretty popular. I run a 175 main and 45 pilot with a HMF exhaust. Your jetting should be similar.

IMHO, use "gold" screws - 1" long and sharpen them. the screws go in straight and you dont need to worry about braking screws, turning screws, screwy screws... and all that crap. 18" cheng shin rears and 20" fast trekker fronts. Make sure to check your screws after every heat or final and turn them so they touch the tire a bit.

There is an Ice racing event being held on a local lake this sunday. It's a 6 hr endurance race for bikes and quads with studded tires on an 8 km track.
