iRacing can only run on the Windows operating system (OS) 8.1 and 10. iRacing can not run on the Mac operating system. You can install Boot Camp on your Mac OS that you would then install Windows OS onto. Learn more here: https://support.apple.com/boot-camp

Mac version is no longer officially supported. Doesn't have dx11 (or dx10, I forget what the more recent build of iRacing runs on). Additionally, some wheel/pedal drivers don't play very nice with Mac (depending on your situation). Get a PC - should run nearly maxed on a 600$ build (US).

Your Mac COULD run iRacing by dual booting with Windows. But I would recommend a $300-500 tower with any graphics card over a Mac laptop. (I worked for Apple for the last ten years, I’ve even ran iRacing on a Mac mini that is basically a desktop MacBook Pro. It did it, but the computer was ran hard.)
