GT3 is the easiest, then gt4, then GTE then GT1 (IMO) im liking the most GT1 but is not very active. BUT, the quarentine, the new tire model and the new damage model may be able to revive it a bit. Gt4 is easier than GT3, the cars are slower and have less aero and less setup config.

GT1 is definitely the fastest. Our Ford GT2 is old and the current GT3 cars have caught up to the old GT2 speed. We had both on track in one of the LeMans fun week 13 races and they were close in speed. Ford had higher top end but the ABS/TC on the GT3s made them better under braking and acceleration.

The short answer is yes it’s a little harder at first, but it won’t take you long to get better. Like you mentioned, more seat time. Since the car doesn’t weigh much and relies on downforce you need to learn some things that aren’t necessarily intuitive.

To be fair the cars on the left cars on the video aren't race cars per say, it's hard to tell because it's 240p, but it seems to be a track day with a mix of historic cars (old Porsches) and fun/track cars (you can see a Caterham and a hatchback). There are a couple hypercars too, but those are really far in terms of cornering speed from even GT3.
