Once I get the D6 I believe that the game will be much easier if I play as Isaac because I will have the ability to reroll items, and better stats than Apollyon who has a similar ability. tldr: I am bad at the game and depend on RNG, skill is important, bosses spamming attacks or using unpredictable attacks is annoying, D6 is a good item that I don't have yet.
