I'm going to try the Summit epoxy soon, and I think it will be a good product from what research I've done on it. The rest of it looks alright also especially for the price. I won't recommend PPG to anyone, and NAPA is decent for daily drivers stuff as well. SPI is my fave for primers and clears. DuPont for color.

The narrative goes like this, I dunno how accurate it is: The Summit is based on the 4010, but Holley destroyed the tooling when they dropped it. This one was based on it, but you can see the fuel inlets were angled down, rather than straight, and a few other changes, supposedly involving the original designer.

Summit also has a new 2 stage, base / clear, line that's not made by the same company that makes the single stage stuff. It's more expensive though and is probably right around the price of some of PPG's stuff. I wouldn't think a company like Summit would sell crap and go ruining their name. First. It is advertised as a single stage urethane paint system. A gallon of paint with reducer and hardenerwill put you in the ball park of a hundred bucks. (Thats not a typo!) Second. They sell all their branded components to match it. Reducers, Hardeners, fish Eye eliminator, etc... Third. They sell two versions of a house brand clear.
