Leffler, 37, never met a type of race car he didn’t like. Over the years he raced everything from USAC Midgets to NASCAR stock cars to IndyCar racers. Leffler shined as a USAC racer, claiming three-consecutive USAC Midget championships between 1997 and 1999. It was from there that the California-born driver entered the NASCAR world.
